| finest Mediteranian food in Seattle | |
| I have ordered off the menu once at the Phoenecia at Alki; afterwards we have always told Hussein "we're hungry" and left it at that. His ability to match customer, food and wine never fail to please. Release yourself and trust this man, his soul is the food! Thank you Hussein! |

| Good Food, Excellent Service | |
| We read the previous reviews and decided to give Hussien a try. We were not disappointed. It was just as others had said. Don't bother with the menu. I told Hussein I liked chicken and lamb, my husband told him he liked seafood. He immediately told us of the dishes he would prepare "just for us". The descriptions of the dishes had us just drooling. He went off and came back with some of the best shish tawook I have ever tasted. The dish for my husband was a lovely salmon/halibut dish in tomato sauce. Both were accompanied by rice with pine nuts. Both dishes had wonderful depth. The desserts he brought were out of this world. A date roll of phyllo dough and a custard in phyllo that included lavendar and rose. Incredible. Go there, you will love it. |

| The Phoenecia is wonderful! Hussien has the best middle eastern food anywhere. In addition to the variety of seafood, chicken, and lamb dishes he offers, there are nightly specials that are out of this world. His attention to detail and service exceeded our expectations. Ask Hussein for a recomendation and you won't be dissapointed. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts are fantastic! |

| Don't bother with the menu, wait until Hussien comes out and tells you what he has for specials that night - order whatever he offers you - you won't be disappointed! |
